Lisa Yannett, Vice President/Partner

Lisa opened the Savannah office in November 2000.  She relocated to her hometown of Savannah from Atlanta where she served as Director of Operations for Horizon Staffing.  She is responsible for making sure that the clients and employees experience complete satisfaction with the services they receive from Horizon Staffing.  And if they have not, then she will do whatever she can to fix it!!  We pride ourselves on providing the highest level of quality service because we understand that hiring a person to work in your company is a very important responsibility.  We strive to make sure we have the most innovative recruiting methods in place and that we consistently are hiring all different skill sets so we are prepared for whatever your request may be.

Brooke Ward, Branch Manager

Brooke has been with Horizon Staffing since January 2011.  As Branch Manager, she is responsible for speaking with Clients and understanding their needs as well as recruiting, prescreening and interviewing the applicants before we place them on a work assignment.  Her goal is to provide the best customer service to our client companies as well as our applicants and employees.  Previously she worked in the staffing industry on site at a large distribution center that utilized hundreds of temporary employees.  She is very knowledgeable of warehouse settings and is able to assist in increasing productivity and motivating employees.  She can help streamline processes as well as being responsible for setting up any new accounts with whom we work.  Brooke will make sure to get the job done and that our clients are satisfied.  If they are not happy, we are not doing our job!! She will stay until the job is done; no matter what time it is!

Rachel Corkern, Staffing and Recruiting Consultant

Rachel is the liaison between the employee/candidate and the client company.  She will take care of all your needs.  She is responsible for recruiting, pre-screening, interviewing, hiring and doing background checks, reference checks and pre-employment drug screenings.  She will also do on-site visits and will go above and beyond to make sure that you are completely satisfied with our services.  She is also very knowledgeable of office operations and is able to find qualified candidates for any of your clerical and more professional positions.  She is the person who handles all of our internet job postings as well as our liaison with all of our recruiting sources.  She continues to build relationships with these organizations in order to help us recruit the most qualified candidates for our open positions.

Laura Olson, Account Manager

Laura joined us in September of 2012 as our Account Manager.  Laura brings enthusiasm and many years of sales and customer service experience.  She also has a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing.  Laura is our first line of contact to the outside business community, and is excited to present the benefits of our service; specifically, what makes Horizon unique in the staffing industry. Laura communicates with decision makers to learn about their companies, their needs, and business challenges, and put together the most optimum solution for them. She develops  strong relationships with our Clients, and will be sure to go the extra mile! 

Jose Rodriguez, Bi-Lingual Staffing Consultant

Jose is one of the people you would speak to when you have a staffing need.  He is the liaison between the employee/candidate and the client company.  He works with our Spanish speaking applicants and employees.  He is responsible for recruiting, pre-screening, interviewing, hiring and doing background checks, reference checks and pre-employment and random drug screenings.  He has extensive customer service experience and is able to handle multiple tasks at one

Gina VanderZyl

Gina worked in the hospitality industry for over 15 years, where she became knowledgeable in all departments of the industry. In recent years, she was employed at Marriott International as the Head of the Housekeeping Department. As a member of Human Resources she was responsible for hiring in her department as well as other departments within the company. She serves as a Staffing Consultant at Horizon Staffing and enjoys helping people find jobs and finds satisfaction knowing her work helps to reduce the unemployment rate in the Savannah metro area.  Gina is also bilingual and specializes in working with our Hispanic, Spanish speaking applicants. Gina is a native of Panama in Central America.
