Ron Ramsey

Owner

Ron Ramsey, a graduate of the University of Missouri, was a former chemist before joining his father's Spherion franchise in 1980. Over the years, the company grew, eventually leaving Spherion to stand on its own as Horizon Staffing. The Ramsey family has dedicated nearly 40 years to the business, and Ron takes pride in offering clients the personalized service of a family-run company while still remaining one of the city's top industry players. True to his Eagle Scout roots, Ron has always believed in serving his community and country by supporting nonprofits. The travel enthusiast enjoys baseball, politics, and walking his dog.

Michael C. Emanuele

 President

Mike Emanuele oversees the daily operations of the company and directs Horizon's financial planning and management. In 2008, Mike was named one of the Atlanta Business Chronicle's "List Makers" in the area of temporary employment agencies. Prior to joining Horizon in 1989, Mike spent seven years at John Harland Company as a manager in Kansas City, his hometown, Jacksonville, and Miami. Mike received dual Bachelor's degrees in Management and Economics, along with an MBA from Northwest Missouri State University. He is active in the North Atlanta Rotary Club and Georgia Rotary Student Program. The former marathoner can often be found water skiing, volunteering, or spending time with his wife and daughters.

Lisa Yannett

Senior Vice President

Lisa Yannett joined Horizon Staffing in 1999. She began as Director of Operations, overseeing sales and branch offices, and later relocated to Savannah to open a Horizon Staffing branch, of which she is co-owner. Lisa came to Horizon with seven years of staffing experience, primarily in sales and management. Additionally, Lisa served as Director of Recruiting for Invesco. Lisa grew up in Savannah and graduated from the University of Georgia, where she received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management. She enjoys the beach, is active in her church, and is married with two boys.

Paula England

Regional Sales Manager

Paula knows the ins and outs of the staffing business well. She started with Horizon Staffing 22 years ago as a Customer Service Representative. Over the years, she has been promoted and given more wide-ranging responsibilities. She served as an Office Manager, Onsite Manager, and Branch Manager before reaching her current position as the Regional Sales Manager. Paula loves helping people with their staffing needs and is glad she decided to leave her job at a hospital and discover the staffing business and Horizon years ago.

Rita Boyd

Branch Manager

Rita has worked for Horizon Staffing for nearly 21 years. She started as a Client Service Representative in 1994 and steadily advanced through the company to her current position as the Chamblee Tucker Branch Manager. Rita also managed other Horizon locations along the way, including serving as the Onsite Manager for Norcom, Inc. She also assisted with the onsite startup operations for the Atlanta and Kansas City area, as well as operations for all Onsite or Managed Accounts. Rita's experience and service in several different areas of Horizon provide her with the perspective necessary to effectively meet the needs of clients, employees, and her own staff.
